Youth from the child welfare system face
some frustrating challenges.

Hundreds of youth exit the child welfare system in Colorado each year with very few resources.*

More than 1 in 5 will become homeless after age 18**
2 out of 3 will not graduate high school on time***
At age 24, under half are employed**

Many of these youth lack the supportive relationships, resources, education, or job skills they need to overcome life's challenges and barriers on the way to adulthood.
